Hi, I’m Aideen!

I was born and raised in Carlow, Ireland and have been baking since I was old enough to hold a spatula.

In 2022, I took a leap of faith by leaving my job as a Radiographer, and retraining as a Chef in Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork. It was hands down the best decision I have ever made and has given me the skills and confidence to open up my business, BrowniePoints.ie.

Shortly after finishing in Ballymaloe, I emmigrated to Vancouver, Canada and subsequently Melbourne, Australia. While these two years of my life were absolutely amazing in many ways, I couldn’t seem to shake my homesickness when I was abroad. I missed birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and countless other big life events that my friends and family were celebrating without me. The poor things!

I spent a lot of time, energy and money organising various gifts to be delivered to people in Ireland, often for the sake of feeling involved. It was then that I realised I could be a part of helping people who are apart, feel connected to their loved ones.

Lucky for me, my favourite thing to bake - and the namesake of my business - is an ideal candidate to be sent by post. Brownies and Blondies are sturdy and last perfectly for weeks.
